Edward Maclean läutet mit seinem Soloprojekt Adoqué die zweite Runde ein. Sein Debüt Album „Edward Maclean’s Adoqué“ hat hervorragende Kritiken erhalten und mit seiner neuen Veröffentlichung vertieft er den eingeschlagenen Weg. Behutsam formt er eine eigene musikalische Sprache mit einer Band, die erst einmal traditionell scheint – ein Jazzquintett – aber aufregend neue Musik spielt. Following the path of discovery developed for his debut album “Edward Maclean’s Adoqué”, this release joins elements of modern acoustic and electronic music to once again create new spacial resonance and timescapes outside of known expectations. His -deceptively traditional by format- jazz quintet transforms Maclean’s compositions and arrangements into crystal clear frameworks for collective improvisation and revelation.
