Aaron Parks gilt nicht umsonst als einer der umtriebigsten, vielseitigsten und gefragtesten Pianisten der Gegenwart. Das Ausnahmetalent begann sein Studium der Musik schon zu High-School-Zeiten und startete seine Karriere mit achtzehn Jahren in der Band von Terence Blanchard. Diese Zusammenarbeit wurde 2007 mit dem Grammy Award ausgezeichnet. Sein lyrisches und kreatives Spiel, das nie zum bloßen Selbstzweck verkommt, wird international geschätzt. Er ist Mitglied von “James Farm” mit Joshua Redman, Matt Penman und Eric Harland, spielte für ECM unter anderem mit Billy Hart zwei Alben ein und ist seit 2009 Teil der Blue-Note-Familie, wo er sein beeindruckendes Debütalbum “Invisible Cinema” vorlegte. Die Liste seiner musikalischen Weggefährten ist lang: Christian Scott, Gilad Hekselman, Ambrose Akinmusire, Derrick Hodge, Kurt Rosenwinkel, Ben Wendel, Walter Smith III. Terry Lyne Carrington, Lage Lund und unzählige mehr.
Sein Quartett “Little Big” mit dem er 2018 und 2020 zwei Alben veröffentlichte, ist die Kulmination seiner Kreativität und Einflüsse. Der Stilmix aus modernem Jazz, Pop-Anleihen, RnB, HipHop, elektronischer Musik und mehr ist eine eklektische, virtuose und doch sensible Erfahrung, die ihresgleichen sucht.
Der ursprünglich aus Neuseeland stammende Gitarrist Greg Tuohey zog Mitte der neunziger Jahre nach New York und war eine feste Größe in der New Yorker Jazzszene. Er trat mit Mark Turner, Seamus Blake, Reid Anderson, George Garzone, Ari Hoenig, Matt Penman, Jerome Sabbagh und vielen anderen auf. Er war auch Mitglied der Naxos-Formation "Flipside". Als vielbeschäftigter Studiomusiker erkundete er viele Jahre lang eine Vielzahl musikalischer Genres, bis er in den letzten Jahren zu seinen Jazz-Wurzeln zurückkehrte.
Simon Jermyn ist Gitarrist, E-Bassist, Komponist und Pädagoge. Der ursprünglich aus Irland stammende Musiker lebt in NYC/Berlin. Simon Jermyn ist mit einer Vielzahl von Projekten und Bands beschäftigt, darunter Jim Black's Smash and Grab, Wood River, das Marc Hannaford Trio, Roamer und Sooner, sowie mit seiner eigenen Band Obsany und Soloauftritten. Als Sideman und Kollaborateur hat Simon mit Jim Black, Chris Speed, John Zorn, Gerald Cleaver, Mat Maneri, Anna Webber, Tom Rainey, Chris Lightcap, Ingrid Laubrock, Mark Ferber, Michaël Attias, Tony Malaby, Ben Goldberg, Jeff Davis, Allison Miller, Nate Wood, Simon Nabatov, Loren Stillman, Satoshi Takeishi, Caleb Burhans und vielen anderen gearbeitet. Er ist im Village Vanguard, The Stone, Winter Jazz Fest, Joe's Pub und vielen anderen Clubs, Festivals und Veranstaltungsorten auf der ganzen Welt aufgetreten.
JK Kim ist ein aufstrebender südkoreanischer Drummer. Von seinem Heimathafen Boston aus macht er die New Yorker und generell die amerikanische Szene unsicher und hat sich eine ansehnliche Reputation erspielen können. Er ist gern gesehener Gast in der New Yorker Jazz Gallery und partizipierte bei Tiny-Desk-Konzerten bei NPR Radio. Er spielte mit Aaron Parks, Gerald Clayton, Drew Gress und Simon Moullier.
Aaron Parks is not considered one of the most active, versatile and sought-after pianists of our time for nothing. The exceptional talent began his study of music in high school days and started his career at the age of eighteen in the band of Terence Blanchard. This collaboration was honored with a Grammy Award in 2007. His lyrical and creative playing, which never degenerates into a mere end in itself, is appreciated internationally. He is a member of "James Farm" with Joshua Redman, Matt Penman and Eric Harland, recorded two albums for ECM with Billy Hart, among others, and has been part of the Blue Note family since 2009, when he presented his impressive debut album "Invisible Cinema". The list of his musical companions is long: Christian Scott, Gilad Hekselman, Ambrose Akinmusire, Derrick Hodge, Kurt Rosenwinkel, Ben Wendel, Walter Smith III Terry Lyne Carrington, Lage Lund and countless more.
His quartet, Little Big, with which he released two albums in 2018 and 2020, is the culmination of his creativity and influences. The mix of styles from modern jazz, pop influences, RnB, hip hop, electronic musician more is an eclectic, virtuosic yet sensitive experience that is second to none.

Simon Jermyn is a guitarist, electric bassist, composer and educator. Originally from Ireland, he lives in NYC/Berlin. JK Kim is an up-and-coming South Korean drummer. From his home base in Boston, he has been making the New York scene and the American scene in general unsafe and has been able to build a respectable reputation. He is a welcome guest at the New York Jazz Gallery and has participated in Tiny Desk concerts on NPR Radio. He has played with Aaron Parks, Gerald Clayton, Drew Gress and Simon Moullier.
