Anthoney Hervey hat sich in den letzten 15 Jahren zu einer festen Größe in der amerikanischen Jazzwelt entwickelt. Der in New York lebende und wirkende Trompeter ist graduierte an der weltberühmten Juilliard School. Sein Mentor Wynton Marsalis nannte ihn einen “Trompeter allererster Güte”; oft spielt er im Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra. Auch in der Christian McBride und der Mingus Big Band ist er regelmäßiger Gast, hinzu kommen noch Kooperationen mit Jon Batiste oder Michael Bublé. Sein Spiel führte ihn auf weltweit renommierte Festivals und in die besten Clubs wie das Birdland, den Blue Note und das Marciac und Newport Festival.

Johannes von Ballestrem, geboren 1990 in Bonn, ist ein Pianist, der mit stilistischer Diversität und vielfältigen Aktivitäten beeindruckt. Er studierte u.a. bei Michael Wollny und ist als gern gesehener Sideman bereits auf der ganzen Welt aufgetreten. In New Orleans beschäftigte er sich intensiv mit den frühen Spielarten des Jazz, durch die Zusammenarbeit mit Mariana Zwarg entdeckte er die Liebe zur Musik Brasiliens. Er spielte bereits mit Musikern wie Kurt Rosenwinkel, Nils Landgren und Norma Winstone, seine Zusammenarbeit mit dem Geiger Daniel Hope brachte ihn als Solisten in Konzertsäle wie die Tonhalle Zürich, das Konzerthaus Berlin und die Elbphilharmonie.

Igor Spallati - geboren 1985 in Italien, begann er mit 19 Jahren Kontrabass zu spielen und studierte in Italien klassischen Kontrabass bei Silvio Bruni und Franco Petracchi. 2010 zog er nach Berlin, um am „Jazz Institut Berlin“ unter der Leitung von Greg Cohen, John Hollenbeck, Kurt Rosenwinkel und anderen zu studieren. Unter anderem hat er mit Ikonen des Jazz wie Joe Chambers, Billy Hart, Nasheet Waits, Jorge Rossy, Fred Hersch, Ethan Iverson, Ambrose Akinmusire, Lewis Nash, Elias Stemeseder, Jay Anderson, Ronnie Burrage, Pietro Tonolo, Gabriele Mirabassi, Dado Moroni, Joe Hisaishi, Louis Bacalov und der HR BigBand gearbeitet.

Ugo Alunni ist ein Schlagzeuger aus Perugia, Italien. Er besuchte das Conservatorio di Musica "Francesco Morlacchi" di Perugia (2000-2004) und zog danach nach New York, um an der Collective School of Music (2005-2006) weiter zu studieren. Seit 2010 lebt er in Berlin, wo er am Jazz Institut Berlin unter der Leitung von John Hollenbeck, Kurt Rosenwinkel, Greg Cohen und David Friedman studierte und 2016 seinen Abschluss machte. Er hat mit Rossano Emili, Perugia Jazz Orchestra, Pietro Tonolo, Joe Chambers, Dan Kinzelman, Alessandro Lanzoni, Elias Stemeseder, Phil Donkin, Uli Kempendorff, Julia Hülsmann und vielen anderen gespielt.

Anthony Hervey has established himself as a major presence in the American jazz scene over the past 15 years. The New York–based trumpeter is a graduate of the renowned Juilliard School. His mentor Wynton Marsalis once called him “a first-rate trumpeter,” and he frequently performs with the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra. Hervey is also a regular guest with the bands of Christian McBride and the Mingus Big Band, and has collaborated with artists such as Jon Batiste and Michael Bublé. His playing has taken him to renowned festivals and leading jazz clubs around the world, including the Birdland Jazz Club, the Blue Note Jazz Club, as well as major events such as the Festival International de Jazz de Marciac and the Newport Jazz Festival.
