Ledisi, geboren in New Orleans und aufgewachsen in Oakland, ist eine Grammy-prämierte Sängerin, die sich mit ihrer einzigartigen Stimme einen festen Platz im zeitgenössischen Soul, Jazz und R&B erarbeitet hat. Sie trat mit Giganten wie Prince, Herbie Hancock, Robert Glasper, Stevie Wonder und Chaka Khan auf und gewann gewann 2021 ihren ersten Grammy für „Anything For You“ als beste Traditional RnB-Performance, bei insgesamt 14 Nominierungen.
