Malika Tirolien ist eine bemerkenswerte Sängerin, Musikerin, Songwriterin und Produzentin aus Guadeloupe, die heute in Montreal lebt. Mit ihren kreativen Kollaborationen erlangt sie schon seit längerem internationale Aufmerksamkeit von Publikum, Kritikern, wie auch von Mitmusikern und wir freuen uns Sie wieder bei uns begrüßen zu dürfen, dieses Mal mit ihrem Projekt Gemini Crab, der Zusammenarbeit mit Caulder Nash.

Malika Tiroliens neueste Veröffentlichung Higher ist der zweite Teil einer Tetralogie über die Elemente Erde, Luft, Erde und Wasser. Es ist ein Paradebeispiel für afrofuturistischen Stil und wurde gemeinsam mit dem Bokanté- und Snarky-Puppy-Schöpfer Michael League produziert. Das Album definiert ein neues Genre, den "High Soul", der R&B, Soul, Hip-Hop und Jazz mischt, um den Soundtrack für einen psychedelischen Trip von Wut bis hin zur Vergebung zu schaffen. Mit Bokanté hat sie bereits über 20 Länder bereist. Zwei brillante Alben der Band haben ihr bereits weltweite Anerkennung und eine Grammy-Nominierung eingebracht. It is a shining example of afro-futuristic styling, co-produced with Bokanté creator Michael League.
