The Zig Zag is known for presenting some of the world´s most talented musical artists. Tonights jam session is not about them.
Its about
- anyone that loves to to occasionaly pluck, blow, hit, or strum...
- hobby and semi professional enthusiasts that don’t play in a band and would love to meet and play with other musicians
- an incomplete group looking for that missing bass player or drummer.
- bands that rehearse at their rehearsal room and would like to experience the feeling of the stage
- Singers that love to sing but haven’t had the opportunity to meet like minded musicians.
Tonight is a meeting point, a hang out and a chance for you to get up on the stage and perform!!!

Das Zig Zag ist bekannt dafür, dass einige der weltweit talentiertesten Musiker dort auftreten. Bei der heutigen Jam Session steht jedoch jemand anderes im Mittelpunkt.
Im Mittelpunkt stehen:
- alle, die ab und zu gerne zupfen, blasen, trommeln oder in die Saiten greifen...
- Hobby- und halbprofessionellen Musikliebhaber, die in keiner Band spielen aber gerne andere Musiker treffen und mit ihnen zusammen spielen möchten.
- unvollständige Gruppen, die noch nach einem Bassisten oder Schlagzeuger suchen.
- Bands die bisher nur in ihrem Proberaum gespielt haben und gerne etwas Bühnenerfahrung sammeln würden.
- Sänger, die es lieben zu singen, aber bisher keine Gelegenheit hatten gleichgesinnte Musiker zu treffen.
Heute bieten wir euch hier ein Treffpunkt, ein Zusammenkommen und eine Möglichkeit auf die Bühne zu gehen und aufzutreten!

ENTRANCE FEES
One of the reasons that makes the zig zag jazz club so unique is that it is the first and only jazz club in the world that manages to finance world class events through a crowd funding concept. How do we do it? Its quite simple… during the break of the concert we make an announcement regarding the collection for the evening. For most concerts (excluding the jam session) we inform our customers that a fee of around 15€ per person will allow us to fairly compensate the musicians. Some people give more and some give less… and that´s ok… we ´ve already successfully promoted hundreds of concerts like this!!!
EINTRITT
Einer der Gründe, die den Zig Zag Jazzclub so einzigartig machen, ist, dass er der erste und einzige Jazzclub der Welt ist, dem es gelingt nur durch freiwilligem Eintritt/Crowdfunding Events von Weltklasse zu finanzieren. Und wie machen wir das? Ganz einfach. Während der Konzertpause geben wir bekannt, dass wir Geld einsammeln werden. Bei den meisten Konzerten (außer Jam Sessions) informieren wir unsere Kunden, dass ein Beitrag von ungefähr 15 Euro es uns erlaubt die Musiker gerecht zu bezahlen. Manche geben dabei mehr und andere weniger... und das ist auch in Ordnung. Wir haben auf diese Weise schon Hunderte Konzerte organisiert.
