Nach langer Zeit ist ADONIS BLOOMFIELD wieder in Berlin. Der Kubaner ist in Berlin schon fast eine Legende. In den 90gern hat er in Berlin gelebt, seit einigen Jahren lebt er wieder in seiner Heimat Kuba und ist auf Stippvisite in Berlin. Adonis macht kubanische Musik in seinem ganz eigenen Style. Er hat schon mit Bands gespielt wie Aventura, Los Orishas und mit Los Van Van, Mayito Rivera, Luis Frank, Sonido Tres, Oscar de Leon und vielen mehr gemeinsam performt. Seine Präsenz auf der Bühne ist phänomenal er verzaubert das Publikum mit seinen Improvisationen und seinem Mix aus FunkHiphop-Jazz und kubanischer Timba.

Alexander Falcon Rodríguez ist ein in Berlin lebender kubanischer Pianist, Arrangeur und Komponist. In Kuba hat er mit allen großen und bekannten Bands gespielt. Seine Spezialität ist die Timba aber auch kubanischer Jazz. Seine Projekte „la Mekanica“ und sein neues Project „Open Sea“ sind den Freunden der kubanischen Musik wohl bekannt.

Rafael “Felo“ Martinez ist ein gefragter Bassist aber auch als Sänger und Singer-Songwriter aktiv. Er kommt ursprünglich aus der Tradition der kubanischen Trova, spielt aber auch Latin-Jazz, Timba und Salsa. Viele kennen ihn noch aus der Zeit mit DLC Südsound oder Pasaje Abierto. Die Latin-Szene kommt am Bassisten Felo nicht vorbei.

Ivica Brkic wurde am 25.6.58 in Sisak in Kroatien geboren und lebt seit 1970 in Berlin. Er ist Musiker/Schlagzeuger/Perkussionist und spielt in verschiedenen Berliner Club Bands, wie von 1987-1989 mit der türkischen Gruppe Regenbogen, mit der er auf Europatour ging und viele mehr.

Domingo Jorge Espichicoque Pompa, genannt „Pichi“ ist in Berlin vor allem in der Rumba-Szene ein Begriff. Seine Rumba Sessions in den 90gern waren legendär. Er ist eine kubanische Institution in dieser Stadt und ein ausgezeichneter Conga-Spieler Geboren wurde Pichi 1954 in Havanna (Kuba) und kam 1990 nach Berlin. Er arbeitete in verschiedenen Kulturzentren und gründete eine Folkgruppe namens IBA ILE ASHE. Übersetzt bedeutet das „Gute Freunde zu Hause“. Außerdem war er Mitglied der Gruppe Sonido Tres, die tradi0onelle und populäre Musik spielte und er nahm mit dieser Gruppe drei Alben auf. Zusätzlich leitet er das Projekt SON BATEY MUSICA INTERNACIONAL. Pichi ist arbeitet auch als Lehrer und gibt Schlagzeugunterricht, afrokubanische Perkussion und andere Genres wie Rumba, Salsa, Cha-Cha, Merengue und andere und komponiert Filmmusik.In Kuba arbeitete er mit dem Son Maracaigo Orchestra, das tradi0onelle und populäre Musik spielte.

Greg Ambroisine ist ein in Deutschland ansässiger Trompeter, Regisseur, Pädagoge und Komponist, der weltweit mit seiner Musik aufgetreten ist. Ambroisine wurde in Sydney geboren und zog nach Beginn seines Musikstudiums nach Melbourne um. Nach seinem Abschluss am Victorian College of the Arts reiste Ambroisine als professioneller Jazzmusiker durch Kanada und Deutschland. Während dieser Zeit trat er mit dem Trompeter Maarcus Belgrave (Ray Charles, Charles Mingus, Motown Records, Tribe Records, Blue Note Records) und dem legendären Schlagzeuger Richard "Pistol" Allen auf.

After a long time, ADONIS BLOOMFIELD is back in Berlin. The Cuban musician is almost a legend in the city. In the 1990s, he lived in Berlin, and for the past few years he has been back in his homeland of Cuba — now returning to Berlin for a brief visit. Adonis creates Cuban music in his own unique style. Greg Ambroisine is a Germany-based trumpeter, director, educator, and composer who has performed his music worldwide. Ambroisine was born in Sydney and moved to Melbourne to begin his music studies. After graduating from the Victorian College of the Arts, he toured Canada and Germany as a professional jazz musician. During this time, he performed with trumpeter Marcus Belgrave (Ray Charles, Charles Mingus, Motown Records, Tribe Records, Blue Note Records) and legendary drummer Richard “Pistol” Allen.
