Jeremy Rose ist ein ARIA-Preis-ausgezeichneter Saxophonist, Komponist, Bandleader und Labeldirektor aus Sydney. Rose veröffentlichte bereits über 25 Aufnahmen, tourte durch Australien, Europa und Großbritannien und arbeitete mit Gitarristen wie Kurt Rosenwinkel und Lionel Loueke zusammen. Zuletzt widmete er sich verstärkt minimalistischen Prozessen, u. a. in Kooperation mit Mitgliedern von The Necks und einer Aufführung von Julius Eastmans Femenine mit seinem Earshift Orchestra.

Simon Barker konzertierte in Australien, Europa, Asien und den USA. Internationale Aufmerksamkeit erhielt er durch Emma Franz’ Dokumentarfilm Intangible Asset Number 82 (2008), der Barkers Suche nach dem koreanischen Schamanen Kim Seok Chul begleitet. Sein Interesse an neuen musikalischen Begegnungen mit ostasiatischen Künstlern führte zu zahlreichen Kooperationen, u. a. mit dem Makoto Kuria Trio, der Japan Australia Jazz Orchestra und dem Improvisator Kim Dae Hwan. In Australien arbeitet Barker regelmäßig mit führenden Formationen wie der Australian Art Orchestra, dem Scott Tinkler Trio oder dem Phil Slater Quartet. Darüber hinaus spielte er mit internationalen Größen wie Tim Berne, Marilyn Crispell, Joe Lovano, Sheila Jordan und Gary Smulyan.

Chloe Kim ist eine in Korea geborene und in Sydney lebende Schlagzeugerin und Improvisatorin, deren Musik Brücken zwischen Traditionen und Kulturen schlägt. Bekannt für ihren kompromisslosen Improvisationsansatz und ihr ausdrucksstarkes Spiel auf erweiterten Percussion-Instrumenten, trat sie in Australien und international in Kontexten von Jazz, Experimentalmusik und Neuer Musik auf. 2023 erlangte sie weltweite Aufmerksamkeit mit ihrer „herkulischen“ (The Guardian) Performance von 100 Stunden Soloschlagzeug über 10 Tage hinweg.

Jeremy Rose is an ARIA award-winning Sydney based saxophonist, composer, band leader and label director, whose music explores the intersection of socio-culture and genre, creating collaborative projects that span the globe. He has released over 25 recordings, toured and performed at festivals around Australia, Europe and the UK, and collaborated with guitarists Kurt Rosenwinkel and Lionel Loueke. More recently Rose has had a fascination with minimalist processes, collaborating with members of The Necks, and staging a performance of Julius Eastman's Femenine with his Earshift Orchestra.

Simon Barker has performed throughout Australia, Europe, Asia and the US. In 2008 Emma Franz’s documentary feature Intangible Asset Number 82 followed Simon’s journey through Korea searching for enigmatic shaman Kim Seok Chul. His interest in developing new music with East Asian musicians has led to numerous collaborations including the Makoto Kuria Trio, Japan Australia Jazz Orchestra, Hoe Jin Oh Trio, Won Il, and improviser Kim Dae Hwan. He performs regularly with many of Australia’s finest jazz groups including The Australian Art Orchestra, Katie Noonan, Vince Jones, Scott Tinkler Trio, The Phil Slater quartet and the Matt McMahon Trio. Simon has also played with many international touring artists including Tim Berne, Marilyn Crispell, Joe Lovano, Sheila Jordan, Gary Smulyan, John Hicks and Carlos Ward.

Chloe Kim is a Korean-born, Sydney-based drummer and improviser whose music bridges traditions and geographies. Known for her unflinching improvisational approach and expressive command of extended percussion, she has performed across Australia and internationally in jazz, experimental, and new music contexts. In 2023, Kim gained global attention for her “Herculean” (The Guardian) performance of 100 hours of solo drumming across 10 days.
