In 2015 gründete Hervé Hartock die Gruppe „Les Colorés“. Hinter dem farbenfrohen Namen steht auch eine ebenso multikulturelle Atmosphäre in der Musik. Es geben sich Zouk, Biguine und Mazurka, Bélé, Cheval bwa und Blues ein Stelldichein.

All diese unterschiedlichen Stile sind die Wurzeln dieser Gruppe. Die Standards der Musik von Guadeloupe und Martinique sind in Europa leider nur wenig bekannt. Deshalb ermöglichen „Les Colorés“ tief in die Tradition der karibischen Musik einzutauchen. Erleben Sie die Vielfalt der Latin-Musik, bei der garantiert kein Fuß still stehen bleiben wird!

Rachelle Jeanty ist in New York geboren und sie ist in Montreal aufgewachsene. Die Sängerin hat ihre Wurzeln in Haiti. Rachelle tritt seit ihrem 4. Lebensjahr in der folkloristischen Tanztruppe ihres Vaters auf und ihre Liebe zur karibischen Musik entfaltet sich, wenn sie singt und ihre Rhythmen auf Congas und Bongos spielt. Rachelle, das neueste Mitglied von LES COLORÉS (The Coloured), vertieft den Groove und das Repertoire dieser farbenfrohen afrokaribischen Jazzband mit ihrem Perkussionsspiel und ihrer melodischen Stimme. Nach einer Welttournee als Backsängerin für Celine Dion und 25 Jahren Gesang von Jazz bis Pop beginnt Rachelle ein neues Kapitel ihres musikalischen Lebens, indem sie zu ihren Wurzeln zurückkehrt und der Öffentlichkeit ihre karibische Seele bietet.

Tanja Becker wuchs in einer musikalischen Familie in Süddeutschland auf. Sie studierte an der Hochschule für Musik "Hanns Eisler" in Berlin unter Jiggs Whiggham, spielte und gründete zahlreiche Bands verschiedenster Genre - Afro, Klezmer, Salsa, Swing & Jazz. Die Liebe zum Rhythmus brachte sie 1998 in den Senegal, wo sie mit Souley Faye und Moussa Gnom auftrat. Es folgten Projekte z.B. mit Candela auf dem Afrikafest Würzburg, Volker Holly Schlott, Gary Wiggins, Abdourahmane Diop, Venusbrass, Ragdoll, D-Son, Orquesta Burundanga u.v.m. Ihre grosse Liebe gilt der Musik Lateinamerikas.

Samuel Appapoulay, ist Pianist, Keyboarder, Sänger und Musikproduzent, der auf der wunderschönen Insel Mauritius geboren und aufgewachsen ist. Seine musikalische Kompetenz hat er in 25 Jahren Erfahrung beim Auftreten in international renommierten 5-Sterne-Hotels, Jazzclubs, auf Festivals sowie bei privaten und geschäftlichen Veranstaltungen in Asien, Australien und Europa entwickelt. Darüber hinaus hat er Werke mit Louie Shelton, Linley Marthe und Orlando Monday Allen produziert. Heute lebt er in Berlin und ist in einem breiten Spektrum an Musikgenres in verschiedenen Formationen tätig. Er schafft einzigartige Musikerlebnisse für Privat- und Firmenkunden sowie für Live-Musiklokale und Festivals.

Ivan Acosta wurde in Bogotá, Kolumbien, geboren. Seinen Zugang zur Musik fand er über die Gitarre, wo er von seinem Lehrer Enerith Núñez unterrichtet wurde. Er studierte klassischen Kontrabass an der Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá und an der Universität der Künste in Berlin. Im Bereich der klassischen Musik wirkte er in verschiedenen Orchestern und Kammermusikensembles wie der Kammersymphonie Berlin und dem Philharmonischen Orchester Dessau mit. Zurzeit lebt er in Berlin und spielt als freischaffender Musiker Bass und Kontrabass in verschiedenen Stilen der lateinamerikanischen Musik.

Hervé Hartock founded the group "Les Colorés" in 2015. Behind the colorful name is an equally multicultural atmosphere in the music. Zouk, biguine and mazurka, bélé, cheval bwa and blues all come together.

All these different styles are the roots of this group. The standards of the music of Guadeloupe and Martinique are unfortunately little known in Europe. Rachelle Jeanty was born in New York and grew up in Montreal. The singer has her roots in Haiti. Rachelle has been performing in her father's folkloric dance troupe since the age of 4 and her love for Caribbean music unfolds as she sings and plays her rhythms on congas and bongos. Rachelle, the newest member of LES COLORÉS (The Colored), deepens the groove and repertoire of this colorful Afro-Caribbean jazz band with her percussion playing and melodic voice. After a world tour as backing singer for Celine Dion and 25 years of singing from jazz to pop, Rachelle begins a new chapter in her musical life by returning to her roots and offering her Caribbean soul to the public.

She studied at the Hanns Eisler Academy of Music in Berlin under Jiggs Whiggham, played and founded numerous bands of various genres - Afro, Klezmer, Salsa, Swing & Jazz. Her love of rhythm took her to Senegal in 1998, where she performed with Souley Faye and Moussa Gnom. This was followed by projects e.g. with Candela at the Afrikafest Würzburg, Volker Holly Schlott, Gary Wiggins, Abdourahmane Diop, Venusbrass, Ragdoll, D-Son, Orquesta Burundanga and many more. Samuel Appapoulay, is a pianist, keyboard player, singer and music producer born and raised on the beautiful Island of Mauritius . His musical expertise was developed within 25 years of experience in playing at internationally reknown 5* hotels, jazz clubs, festivals, private- and corporate Events in Asia, Australia and Europe. Moreover he produced works with Louie Shelton, Linley Marthe and Orlando Monday Allen. Now located in Berlin, Germany he acts within a broad range of music genres in different formations and creates unique music experiences for private- and corporate clients as well as live music venues and festivals.

Ivan Acosta was born in Bogotá, Colombia. He found his access to music through the guitar, where he was taught by his teacher Enerith Núñez. He studied classical double bass at the Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá and at the Universität der Künste in Berlin. In the field of classical music, he participated in various orchestras and chamber music ensembles such as the Kammersymphonie Berlin and the Philharmonic Orchestra Dessau. He currently lives in Berlin and plays bass and double bass as a freelance musician in various styles of Latin American music.
