Roman Ott ist ein Ausnahmetalent am Saxofon, sein unverwechselbar eigener Sound und sein Saxofonspiel muss man selbst erleben, um die «good old magic» zu spüren. Er wird songs seines Albums «hey ro» vorstellen, dass auf dem international renommierten Label Fresh Sound erschienen ist. Eingeladen hat er dafür eine illustre All-Star-Band gespickt mit den besten Jazzern der Berliner Szene und aufgrund der hohen Nachfrage erstmals eine Doppelshow in unserem Club bestreiten! Roman Ott ist einer der herausragenden Saxophonisten in Deutschland. Sein eigener Sound und Kompositionsstil lassen ihn herausstechen. Er studierte Jazz-Saxophon, Klavier, Komposition, Gehörbildung und Arrangement an der Folkwang Hochschule Essen und der UdK Berlin. In Maryland (USA) gewann er den „Outstanding Solo Award“ für sein Saxophon-Spiel. Als Bandleader bespielt er mit seinem Quartett internationale Jazzclubs und Festivals. Zudem arbeitet Ott als musikalischer Leiter, Komponist, Arrangeur und Schauspieler an der Berliner Volksbühne, dem Hau 1 und der Vagantenbühne, u.a. mit Regisseur*innen wie R. Pollesch, C. Groß, U. Schall und C. Mylord.
Attila Muehl ist ein in Berlin lebender Jazzgitarrist. Er nahm Unterricht bei Jonathan Kreisberg, Frank Tiberi, Doug Weiss und Rez Abasi. Von 2007 bis 2009 studierte er an der HfMT Köln bei Frank Haunschild und setzte sein Studium von 2009-2013 in Berlin bei Kurt Rosenwinkel fort. Er ist eine der aktivsten Persönlichkeiten der deutschen Jazzszene und hat mit einigen der besten Jazzmusiker der lokalen und internationalen Szene aufgenommen und gespielt. Dazu gehören prominente Musiker wie Johnny Griffin, Kurt Rosenwinkel, Torsten Goods, Till Brönner, Peter Weniger, Wanja Slavin, Peter Ehwald, Phil Donkin, Tobias Backhaus, Bodek Janke, Andrea Marcelli, um nur einige zu nennen.
Lars Gühlcke begann mit der Gitarre und studierte dann Kontrabass in Amsterdam und Hilversum. Seit 1996 ist er festes Mitglied des Ed Kröger Quartetts mit der Gastsolistin Romy Camerun. Nach einem Aufenthalt in New York City und zahlreichen Konzerten im In- und Ausland lebt er seit 2000 in Berlin und arbeitet als freischaffender Musiker. Er trat mehrfach in Fernsehen und Rundfunk auf.
Peter Gall ist einer der renommiertesten deutschen Jazz- Schlagzeuger. Er stand mit zahlreichen Koryphäen und namhaften Formationen der nationalen und internationalen Szene auf der Bühne und bewies seine Vielseitigkeit an den Trommeln unter anderem mit dem Kurt Rosenwinkel Trio, der NDR Big Band, Take 6, The New York Voices, Roberto Di Gioia’s Web Web, Max Herre, Joy Denalane, Nils Landgren, Dieter Ilg, Frank Chastenier, Gwilym Simcock, Ben Street, Seamus Blake, Torsten Goods, Joris Roelofs, Pablo Held, Johannes Enders, Tony Lakatos, Peter Weniger, Vinicius Gomes, Magnus Lindgren, Gitte Haenning, Jeff Taylor, Gabriel Rios, Jasmin Tabatabai, dem Berliner Konzerthausorchester, dem Staatsorchester Stuttgart, dem Filmorchester Babelsberg, den Bands Subtone und Blume sowie Thomas Quasthoff. Peter Gall ist auf über 30 Alben zu hören, wirkte bei zahlreichen Radio- und TV- Produktionen mit und spielte Konzerte auf weltberühmten Festivals wie dem Montreux Jazzfestival, Jazz Baltica und in der New Yorker Carnegie Hall.

Roman Ott is one of Germany’s outstanding saxophonists. His distinctive sound and compositional voice set him apart. He studied jazz saxophone, piano, composition, ear training, and arranging at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen and at the Berlin University of the Arts (UdK). In Maryland (USA), he received the “Outstanding Solo Award” for his saxophone playing. As a bandleader, he performs with his quartet at international jazz clubs and festivals. In addition, Ott works as a musical director, composer, arranger, and actor at venues such as the Volksbühne Berlin, HAU 1, and the Vagantenbühne, collaborating with directors including René Pollesch, Claudia Groß, Uwe Schall, and Claudia Mylord.
Attila Muehl is a Berlin-based jazz guitarist. He studied with Jonathan Kreisberg, Frank Tiberi, Doug Weiss, and Rez Abbasi. From 2007 to 2009 he studied at the Cologne University of Music and Dance (HfMT Köln) with Frank Haunschild, continuing his studies in Berlin from 2009 to 2013 with Kurt Rosenwinkel. He is one of the most active figures in the German jazz scene and has recorded and performed with many leading musicians from both the local and international scenes, including Johnny Griffin, Kurt Rosenwinkel, Torsten Goods, Till Brönner, Peter Weniger, Wanja Slavin, Peter Ehwald, Phil Donkin, Tobias Backhaus, Bodek Janke, and Andrea Marcelli, among many others.
Lars Gühlcke began his musical journey on the guitar before studying double bass in Amsterdam and Hilversum. Since 1996 he has been a permanent member of the Ed Kröger Quartet, featuring guest soloist Romy Camerun. After a stay in New York City and numerous concerts in Germany and abroad, he has been based in Berlin since 2000, working as a freelance musician. He has made numerous appearances on television and radio.
