Die preisgekrönte israelische Pianistin und Komponistin HILA KULIK gehört zu den aktivsten Musikerinnen der heutigen internationalen Jazzszene.
Als Absolventin der renommierten Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance und der Aaron Copland School of Music am Queens College (New York) stand sie bereits mit namhaften Künstlern wie Cyrille Aimée, Emma Smith, Antonio Hart, Wayne Tucker und Donald Harrison auf der Bühne, nahm mit ihnen auf und tourte international.
Heute leitet sie ihr eigenes Trio, mit dem sie in ganz Europa und darüber hinaus auftritt und Musik aus ihrem gefeierten Album More Than a Change präsentiert. Ihre Musik verbindet Swing, Jazz und Soul mit subtilen Einflüssen nahöstlicher Rhythmen und klassischer Harmonik.
MAKAR NOVIKOV ist einer der bekanntesten aus Russland stammenden Jazz-Kontrabassisten. Als erfahrener Begleiter und virtuoser Solist spielte er bereits mit Künstlern wie Jimmy Cobb, Clark Terry, Jimmy Heath und Lew Tabackinund trat bei renommierten Festivals und in bedeutenden Jazzclubs wie dem Montreux Jazz Festival, Ronnie Scott’s in London, Duc des Lombards in Paris, Apollo Jazz Theater und Smalls Jazz Club in New York auf.
Aus politischen Gründen entschied sich Makar Novikov im Februar 2022, nach Europa zu emigrieren. Er zog nach Italien und arbeitete dort intensiv mit italienischen Musikern wie Rosario Giuliani, Antonio Faraò und Maurizio Giammarcozusammen. 2023 unterrichtete er zudem Jazz-Kontrabass und Ensemble für Masterstudierende an der Siena Jazz University.
Seit 2024 lebt Makar Novikov in Berlin. Regelmäßig ist er als Mitglied in Projekten von Alex Sipiagin, Isfar Sarabski, Carl Winther und Olivia Trummer zu hören und leitet zudem ein internationales Quintett. Im November 2025 gab er mit der Veröffentlichung seines Albums Long Journey sein Debüt als Komponist.
MATAN ASSAYAG ist ein in Berlin lebender Schlagzeuger, Komponist und Musikpädagoge. Mit mehr als zwei Jahrzehnten professioneller Erfahrung als Schlagzeuger und Musikpädagoge ist er vor allem als Mitbegründer und rhythmisches Fundament des international gefeierten Instrumentaltrios SHALOSH bekannt.

A graduate of the prestigious Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance and the Aaron Copland School of Music at Queens College (New York), she has shared the stage, recorded, and toured with acclaimed artists including Cyrille Aimée, Emma Smith, Antonio Hart, Wayne Tucker, Donald Harrison, and many others.
She currently leads her own trio, performing across Europe and beyond while presenting music from her acclaimed album More Than a Change. Her music blends swing, jazz, and soul with subtle influences of Middle Eastern rhythms and classical harmony.
MAKAR NOVIKOV is one of the best-known jazz double bassists hailing from Russia. He is an experienced accompanist and virtuoso soloist who has performed with artists such as Jimmy Cobb, Clark Terry, Jimmy Heath, and Lew Tabackin at renowned venues and festivals including the Montreux Jazz Festival, Ronnie Scott’s in London, Duc des Lombards in Paris, Apollo Jazz Theater, and Smalls Jazz Club in New York.
For political reasons, Makar Novikov decided to emigrate to Europe in February 2022. He moved to Italy and began performing extensively with Italian musicians including Rosario Giuliani, Antonio Faraò, and Maurizio Giammarco. In 2023, he also worked as a Jazz Bass and Ensemble teacher for Master’s students at Siena Jazz University.
Since 2024, Makar Novikov has been based in Berlin. He regularly appears as a band member in projects by Alex Sipiagin, Isfar Sarabski, Carl Winther, and Olivia Trummer and is active as the bandleader of an international quintet. In November 2025, he made his debut as a composer with the release of his album Long Journey.
MATAN ASSAYAG is a drummer, composer, and music educator based in Berlin. With over two decades of professional experience behind the kit and in music instruction, he is widely recognized as a co-founder and the rhythmic backbone of the internationally acclaimed instrumental trio SHALOSH.
